Technical Specifications of Fiberglass Membrane
- 2 oz chopped strand fiberglass mat
- Polyester type lamination resin
- UV stabilized gel coat with non-skid surface
- Standard colors: Off White, Light Grey, Tan, Clay
Deck Preparation Specifications
- Pitch ¼” per foot
- Minimum ½ AC grade plywood (no less than 5 ply) on top of ¾” substrate
- Install smooth side up
- Determine location of railing columns. Railings must remain down
- Install finish plywood the morning of lamination or as specified
- Dry, tight fitting – gaps less than 1/8”
- Access flashing in all doorways, window details etc. to a minimum of 6″ – 8”
- Determine drip edge configuration i.e. 1 x 4 hand wrap
